GTA 5 became one of the best-selling video games of all time since its release in 2013. Since then, GTA fanatics have been patiently waiting for its sequel. Rockstar Games finally released the trailer for the latest addition to the franchise on Dec. 4. The GTA 6 trailer received over 107 million views in a day, and its viewership is growing drastically. All the hype has people imagining who the voice actors could be.
Grand Theft Auto 6 Voice Actor Speculations
Rockstar Games hasn’t confirmed any voice actors for GTA 6, as of writing. But that won’t stop fans from speculating.
Many believe Lucia, the first female protagonist in the franchise, sounds like Alexandra Echavarri. Echavarri previously voiced Lupe in Grand Theft Auto Online, which makes fans believe she might return to GTA 6.
Others are convinced Troy Baker voices Jason, Lucia’s supposed love interest in GTA 6. Baker is one of the most prominent figures in the video game voice-acting field. He’s best known for starring as Joel Miller in The Last of Us, Samuel Drake in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and more roles in several AAA games.
Lucia and Jason are the voice actors everyone is curious about because they’re the main characters. According to the GTA 6 trailer, the couple participates in robberies in the fictional Vice City, Miami.
Rockstar Games is known for choosing the perfect songs for the GTA series. Find out more about the iconic song in the GTA 6 trailer here.
Players will have to wait a little longer for GTA 6’s release. It’s scheduled to come out on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2025, but there’s no confirmed release date.
