GreedFall sleeping pills are a necessary ingredient in the laced drink you'll need to complete the Coin Guard Merchandise quest. This quest, handed out in the opening area of the game, requires some creative problem solving. Here's how to solve those problems.

GreedFall Sleeping Pills: How to Complete Coin Guard Merchandise

The Coin Guard Merchandise quest, found in New Serene, tasks you with acquiring some goods to bring to Teer Fradee. After following the steps of the quest for a while, you'll find yourself needing to pass some unwilling guards into the warehouse with the goods inside.

After a fruitless conversation you'll find yourself with the following options: kill the guards, or drug them.

To avoid violence, you'll need to get a laced drink and use it. Head to the north west area of Serene, north of the Warehouses, and look for a man shouting about a concoction. In the street below his cart you'll find a merchant who can sell you some brandy and sleeping pills for around 15 coins.

Move to the crafting table around the corner and craft the laced drink in the quest items tab of the crafting menu. Bring it to the guards and offer them the drink. In short order they'll go down, allowing you access to the warehouse.
