Guerrillas in the Mist Borderlands 3: FL4K Ability Nerfed

Guerrillas in the Mist in Borderlands 3 is one of FL4K's most popular and powerful abilities. Unfortunately for FL4K players, it appears Gearbox Software deemed it too powerful and chose to nerf it in the latest Borderlands 3 update. Here's what you need to know.

Guerrillas in the Mist Borderlands 3: FL4K Ability Nerfed

Guerrillas in the Mist is a tier 2 augment skill FL4K can pick up in their Stalker skill tree. While it's equipped, Fade Away persists even after FL4K attacks. In exchange, Fade Away's duration and critical damage bonus are both reduced.

Originally, Guerrillas in the Mist lasted eight seconds and reduced critical hit damage by 50%. This allowed players to lean hard into critical hit damage in the rest of their builds to deal outstanding damage while invisible.

To counteract this strategy, Gearbox reduced Guerrillas in the Mist's duration to six seconds and further reduced critical hit damage to just a quarter of its usual efficacy.
