Halo Infinite Delayed: Has Halo Infinite Been Delayed?

Halo Infinite delayed rumors emerged once we saw a couple of games delayed this past month. Both Final Fantasy 7 remake and Cyberpunk 2077 were delayed but the former only by a month.

Cyberpunk 2077 was delayed by five months. But will Halo Infinite meet the same fate? It's hard to say with how volatile game development can be as whole projects can be cancelled or remodeled. Halo Infinite went through some changes of its own, but finally found a vision in 2018.

Halo Infinite Delayed: Has Halo Infinite Been Delayed?

As of writing, Halo Infinite has not been delayed and will probably not be delayed for one reason. It's meant to be the launch game with Xbox Series X. Since the Xbox Series X needs to compete with the PlayStation 5 during the 2020 holiday season, Microsoft needs games.

For how long Halo Infinite has been in production, Microsoft would not allow Halo Infinite to be delayed. It needs to be the crown jewel of the new console generation and it has had plenty of time to achieve that goal.
