Halo Infinite New Weapons Datamined

In the new “Fiesta” multiplayer playlist, Halo Infinite dataminers have found that the weapon variants feature that will most likely make a comeback in the Fractures event. Being player accessible, it can be accessed through custom game settings.

First introduced in Halo 5, weapon variants were hidden throughout certain levels, giving players boosts in strength, providing it to be useful for higher difficulties. Only becoming controversial around Halo 5’s Warzone multiplayer, as this action was accessible through gacha REQ card packs.

343 Industries dataminers have leaked the 17 weapon variants:

  • Calcine Disruptor
  • M41 Tracker
  • Unbound Plasma Pistol
  • Backdraft Cindershot
  • Pursuit Hydra
  • Pinpoint Needler
  • Arcane Sentinel Beam
  • Impact Commando
  • Convergence Bulldog
  • MA40 Longshot
  • S7 Flexfire
  • BR75 Breacher
  • Rapidfire Pulse Carbine
  • Volatile Skewer

These variants are currently usable in a custom game in an offline server with Fiesta mode.

With the leaked information also comes the player reactions towards the reintroduction of the weapon variants, and overall, very positive responses, as many have suggested that the variants are what helped the overall experience of Halo 5’s Warzone multiplayer.

But the main concern comes from the fact that these variants act more like upgrades, making certain weapons more or less overpowered. As many players have begun testing out these leaked variants, some are already noticing the difference between one version over the other. And with no real confirmation that these leaked variants will appear in the multiplayer Fiesta mode, they are right now just fun weapons to use in a player's off time.
