Steven "Hans Sama" Liv has signed with Team Liquid for the upcoming 2022 season.
Team Liquid made an announcement on Twitter welcoming Hans Sama to the team on Nov. 23. For the past two years, the 22-year-old French League of Legends player was a member of the League of Legends European Championship team Rogue.
Hans Sama caught the attention of many teams after his incredible performance at the League of Legends World Championship 2021. Hans Sama played as Rogue's AD Carry and helped the team get to Day 4 of the Group Stage phase. Rogue won their tiebreaker game against FunPlus Phoenix, but fell short in another tiebreaker against Cloud9.
Along with Team Liquid's newest addition of ADC Hans Sama, the following players will be part of Team Liquid's 2022 League of Legends team:
- Top laner Gabriël "Bwipo" Rau
- Mid laner Nicolaj "Jensen" Jensen
- Jungler Lucas "Santorin" Tao Kilmer Larsen
- Support Yong-in "CoreJJ."
Although Hans Sama is excited for his new journey with Team Liquid and the start of his new career in the LCS, he has also shared how sad he is about parting with his EU fans. On Twitter, Hans Sama wrote,
"I'm so excited to start this new big chapter in my life with TL. But i’m also sad leaving behind my fans from EU, Thank you for supporting me."
Many Hans Sama's fans are sad to see him leave the LEC but are excited for his new LCS career and journey with Team Liquid.
