Happy Home Academy Rankings in New Horizons explained so you can rack up the most points without ever breaking a sweat.

The Happy Home Academy (HHA) has been either the bane or boon of many an Animal Crossing player's existences. This team of judges has been in the franchise since its early titles and serves as the epitome of interior design. Every week, though you likely will never see them, the HHA will come and evaluate player homes and assign them a score. This score fluctuates based on several sets of criteria.

Happy Home Academy Rankings in New Horizons Explained

Happy Home Academy Rankings in New Horizons are a bit more lenient than previous games. The ranks are S through B—with S being the highest band B being the lowest. In order to climb through the ranks, players will need to adequately design their housing interior and build up points.

Player homes are evaluated every week on Sunday morning and a score is received by mail containing just how many points have been earned.

Be warned, however, that after each housing upgrade the points needed to rank-up will increase.
