The Pokemon Company has unveiled another region-specific form from the Hisui region to debut in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

The Pokemon is Zorua, of course. The announcement was made through a set of tweets posted on the verified Pokemon account on Tuesday, Oct. 26. There were three tweets in total: one for Zorua, one for its evolved form Zoroark, and one containing a short video clip depicting the Pokemon in action.

Here's what we know about Hisuian Zorua and Zoroark.

Hisuian Zorua Details in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Hisuian Zorua is the new regional form of Zorua—the "Tricky Fox" Pokemon originally hailing from the Unova region as part of Generation V. Although, chronologically, one would think Zorua eventually migrated to Unova over the years, this is actually disproven by its PokeDex entry. In Hisui, it is known as the "Spiteful Fox" Pokémon.

"After being shunned by humans, Zorua migrated to Hisui," it reads in the Pokemon's announcement tweet, "but they were unable to survive the harsh environment. Their lingering souls were reborn in this Ghost-type form through the power of their malice."

In contrast to its Unova cousin, Hisuian Zorua is a normal and ghost-type. It features white fur with wispy red accents coming from the tuft in its head and the fluff around its neck. It has black paws and inner ears. This is likely an adaptation meant to combat the cold temperatures of its mountain habitat. According to the announcement tweet, it stands at 2' 4" and weighs around 27.6 lbs. Its PokeDex number is #570.

Hisuian Zoroark Details in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Hisuian Zoroark is expected to evolve from Zorua in the same fashion as its Unova cousin—at level 30. It is known as the "Baneful Fox" Pokemon in Hisui.

"Hisuian Zoroark is hostile toward people and Pokémon—but it seems to have compassion for those it considers family," its announcement tweet reads, "Anyone able to establish trust with this Pokémon would likely find it an invaluable ally."

It, like its pre-evolved form, has snowy white fur and red wispy accents at the very tips. This red also appears as several round bumps along its limbs. If trainers look closely, they may be able to see the white patterning on its body. Its previously tied and groomed mane has been left unbound and wild to whip around it in the harsh mountain winds. Hisuian Zoroark's eyes are yellow, split by a narrow black pupil, and surrounded by red fur draw to a point at the inner and outer corners.

More information about either Pokemon can be found on the Pokemon Legends webpage. Players who preorder the game may also receive a Baneful Fox Mask avatar item.
