The Horadric Cube is among Diablo II: Resurrected's most inscrutable items. Although it's initially positioned as a purely story-related item, allowing the player to combine a pair of items to make a key item, its ability to transmute items actually gives it wide-ranging utility. Here's what you need to know about it.

Where to Find the Horadric Cube in Diablo II: Resurrected

You'll come across the Horadric Cube in Act 2. At the end of Hall of the Dead Level 3, you should find a chest with the Cube inside. Because it's a key item for the campaign, it can't be missed.

How to Use the Horadric Cube in Diablo II: Resurrected

To use the Cube, you'll need to place items inside it and then press the combine button. The arrangement of the items doesn't matter as long as they all fit inside. You can also use the inside of the Cube as extra inventory space in a pinch.

Here's where the Cube gets interesting. The Horadric Cube allows you to transmute a huge range of matter into new forms. Here are all the recipes yet discovered in Diablo II: Resurrected, sorted by item type.

Consumable Items

  • Full rejuvenation potion: Small rejuvenation potions x3
  • Small rejuvenation potion: Health potions x3 + Mana potions x3 + any chipped gem x1
  • Full rejuvenation potion: Health potions x3 + Mana potions x3 + any gem (normal) x1
  • Quiver of bolts: Quiver of arrows x2
  • Quiver of arrows: Quiver of bolts x2
  • Antidote potion: Strangling Gas potion x1 + any Healing potion x1

  • Magic Sword of the Leech: Any health potion x4 + any Ruby x1 + Magic rarity sword x1
