Horizon Forbidden West: Where to Find Wild Meat

Wild Meat in Horizon Forbidden West is, thankfully, an abundant resource. As you hunt and scavenge across the land, you'll no doubt find some at some point from various supply containers. However, if you're looking to source some more directly, then you'll need to do things the old fashioned way.

Wild Meat is a common drop from nearly every wildlife creature that makes its home in the game's lands. Tracking then hunting down an animal will, more often then not, drop an amount of Wild Meat. Boars, goats, and raccoons are some of the more common creatures you'll stumble across. Shooting them with an arrow or two, or simply hitting them with your spear, will take them down.

Check forest-like areas for the highest concentration of wildlife. Use your Focus to help identifiy where a creature is - they'll usually be highlighted in yellow. Approach quietly with your bow drawn to ensure a quick takedown.

Alongside meals, Wild Meat is also used when making small potions, making this a resource you're going to want plenty of.

Horizon Forbidden West is available now on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
