With the Valorant beta starting earlier this morning, players from the United States, Canada, Europe, and Turkey are excited for the opportunity to try out Riot Games' latest project. Here's everything you need to know about the Twitch drops that will give you access to the Valorant beta.
How do Twitch Drops Work Valorant?
According to information from Twitch and Riot Games, players can earn access to the Valorant beta through random drops to viewers on specified Twitch streams with drops enabled. But, that's only if they have their Riot Games account linked to their Twitch account.
This is because the drops from Twitch streams whitelist the viewers Riot Games account so that when they log in to play Valorant, it will allow them to access the beta successfully. But, that will only work if the player is in the United States, Canada, Europe, or Turkey. Players in other regions will have to wait a bit longer to get access to the Valorant beta.
Note: Only streams that have the “Drops enabled! Watch for a chance to earn loot” Icon and text or the "Drops Enabled" tag below the stream title are verified Twitch Drops enabled channels for the VALORANT Closed Beta. pic.twitter.com/FpCn0Bi55t
