Wondering how long the Call of Duty: Vanguard campaign is? Here's what you need to know.
Call of Duty: Vanguard launched today, Nov. 5, on PlayStation, Xbox, and PCs. The latest entry into the long-running series sees players face threats on four different WWII frontlines. The featured characters include soldiers from Allied Forces, many of whom have been based on real-life military service personnel like Lt. Polina Petrova, based on Soviet sniper Lyudmila Pavlichenko.
While a large portion of the playerbase will be looking to get stuck into the multiplayer, Vanguard also features a WWII-era campaign.
Past Call of Duty campaigns haven't been massive, and can easily be completed in a lengthy sitting. Call of Duty: Vanguard seems to be no exception to that, so you won't need to drop hundreds of hours to explore the story and its characters. Which, in a world full of massive time-sinkers, can be a welcome change.
How Long is the Call of Duty: Vanguard Campaign?
Depending on your playstyle, and difficulty setting, Call of Duty: Vanguard's campaign is roughly five to seven hours long. This mode is a great way to get accustomed to the controls, weapons, and mechanics before dropping into the multiplayer. The campaign's nine missions each take approximately 40 minutes to complete, depending on how throrough you are.
The campaign features various difficulty modes: Recruit, Regular, Hardened, and Veteran. Whichever difficulty you choose will likely effect your playtime.
Call of Duty: Vanguard is out now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PCs.
