How much is Ghost of Tsushima's DLC? The open-world samurai adventure game is set to receive its first bit of downloadable content next month in the form of a new explorable island, so curiosity about its cost is perfectly reasonable. However, the question itself is a misleading one, as the DLC itself can't be bought on its own. Here's what you need to know about buying access to Ghost of Tsushima's Iki Island DLC.
How Much is Ghost of Tsushima DLC?
Rather than sell the Iki Island DLC on its own, Ghost of Tsushima development studio Sucker Punch Productions decided to roll it into the game's Director's Cut release. There's no way to access the new content without buying the Director's Cut.
For new players, that means shelling out $70 for the PlayStation 5 version, which will launch with plenty of PS5-exclusive features such as a 60 frames per second mode and DualSense support, or $60 for the PS4 version.
But if one already owns the game, pricing becomes a little more complicated. If you bought the PlayStation 4 version of Ghost of Tsushima, you can pay $20 to upgrade to the Director's Cut on PS4, or $30 to upgrade to the PS5 version of the Director's Cut. This will unlock the DLC when it launches.
Alternatively, if you already own the game on PS5, it will only cost you $10 to upgrade to the Director's Cut.
