Checking the scoreboard in Battlefield 2042 is simple once you learn how.

Battlefield 2042 was released on Nov. 19, 2021. With much excitement having been built around the game, features such as customizable load-outs with specific specialists, there has been one classic feature that seems to be missing from the overall landscape, the scoreboard.

Depending on the system that one is playing on, PC players will have to press that tab button in order to access the scoreboard, while console players will hold the option button instead.

The New Changes to Battlefield 2042 Scoreboard

On the right side of the screen, a player can find their own kill/death ratio (K/D), including the number of assists, revives, captures, and defenses one has accumulated throughout gameplay.

The left contains squad rankings which show similar information to the individual stats but is applied for the entire team, as well as their current standing with other squads. This is ranked for the entire player base instead of having a scoreboard for individual teams.

Captured sectors will also be viewable, in addition to the overall score and the number of sector points and deaths each team has earned.

Players Reaction Towards New Battlefield 2042 Scoreboard

There has been an overall negative reaction toward the redesign of the new scoreboard. As many want to compare their K/D ratios with all 128 players within the game. This new design does not allow the function of seeing the stats of other individual players unless they are on your squad. This change gives the same reaction out of the majority of players, and that’s it makes the game less competitive.

When GhostGaming had sent a poll through Twitter asking their followers to vote for the new design, there was an overwhelmingly negative response towards this change and wish they brought the traditional scoreboard back.
