A new week means new challenges, and we are here to show you how to complete the Season 5 Week 6 challenges in Fortnite.

OG Fortnite players remember waiting each week for the release of new challenges so they could grind them out to make progress towards the Battle Pass Tier 100 skin. While that excitement has faded considerably as the seasons progressed, there are still a lot of unique cosmetics and items in the Chapter 2 Season 6 Battle Pass that are worth grinding for.

How to Complete the Season 5 Week 6 Challenges in Fortnite

This week's challenges are centered around fishing and being near the water. There are a total of seven challenges that will reward you with XP towards leveling up the Battle Pass. The challenges are in the list below:

  • Blow up Fishing Holes at Sharky Shell, Sweaty Sands, or Flopper Pond (3)
  • Destroy Motorboats (3)
  • Blow up Fishing Holes at Lazy Lake Island, Lake Canoe, and Steamy Stacks (3)
  • Catch Fish (7)
  • Signal the Coral Buddies (1)
  • Destroy Boats (7)
  • Destroy fishing Rod Barrels (7)
  • Get Headshots (20, 40, 60, 80, 100)

The easiest of the challenges are definitely destroy motorboats, destroy boats, catch fish, and destroy fishing rod barrels. That should not take more than two or three games to complete depending on where players drop in on the map.

Blowing up the fishing holes will take some time only because you have to travel to each of the spots in order to blow it up. You can blow them up with the rockets attached to the motorboats or by tossing grenades into the designated holes.

The signaling Coral buddies is challenging, and we are not exactly sure what "signaling" means as of publication. It might mean emoting or traveling to a location. Stay tuned to see what Epic Games has to say about that challenge.

The most difficult will to be to achieve 100 headshots in order to complete the final challenge. Spending some time in creative with your friends tuning up your aim will definitely assist in completing this challenge.
