How to do finishing moves in Modern Warfare is a fun technique to know if you want to embarrass those pesky campers hiding with the 725 shotgun and claymores.
Finishing moves, or executes, are a new mechanic added in Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare soft reboot. As mentioned, the tool is great to use to humiliate players in game.
Here's how to perform a finishing move in Modern Warfare.
How to do Finishing Moves in Modern Warfare
To perform a finishing move, players must first be behind an enemy with their backs facing toward the player.
Walk up to the player and hold the melee button. Instead of just either knifing or hitting the enemy with the butt of your gun, a special animation will start showing a fancy execute. Be wary of performing a finishing move because players can shoot those performing one and cancelling it, therefore preventing the kill saving the enemy's life.
There are multiple finishing moves in the game as well, ranging from beat-downs with nightsticks, tactical moves with a knife and more.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
