How to Evolve Togetic Into Togekiss in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

With the new release of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond Shining Pearl, fans of Pokémon have been catching their favorite Generation IV Pokémon and re-exploring the Sinnoh region.

As players are busy catching different Pokémon, battling gym leaders and trying to fill up their Pokédexes, we created this guide in order to help trainers evolve their Togetic into Togekiss in the new games.

Togetic is the evolution of Togepi, the Fairy-type Pokémon. As Togepi evolves to Togetic, it grows a pair of wings, changing its type to Fairy and Flying. Togetic and Togekiss' weakness is Ice, Steel, Poison, Electric and Rock. This Pokémon is known for being attracted to happiness and bringing good luck to trainers who are kind to it.

How to Evolve Togetic Into Togekiss in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, evolving Togetic to Togekiss requires a Shiny Stone. Shiny Stones can be found in the game a couple of ways but chance is definitely part of the process.

If a player has a Pokémon with the Pickup ability, there's a good chance a Shiny Stone can be obtained this way. Although it is not guaranteed to pick up a Shiny Stone immediately, this ability can pick up potions and other evolutionary stones in the meantime. If a player is looking for a Shiny Stone earlier in the game, this is the recommended way of obtaining one.

There are also two places players can find a Shiny Stone. Once players pick up the Shiny Stone from these areas, they cannot be obtained from the area again. A Shiny Stone is inside the sandstorm southeast of Route 228. Players will need to ride their bike in order to find the stone. A Shiny Stone can also be acquired on Iron Island in basement B3F1.

After obtaining the Shiny Stone, players can use it on Togetic, who will evolve into Togekiss.
