How to Fix 'Progression Revoked' Error Message in League of Legends

The League of Legends subreddit page has recently been flooded with players asking the same question: why is my game giving me a "Progression Revoked" message?

Over the past week, many people have posted to the League of Legends subreddit with complaints of receiving a "Progression Revoked" message, even when they have done nothing to warrant the punishment. This denies players the chance to gain progress on Challenges and Eternals.

How to Fix "Progress Revoked" Error Message

Unfortunately, there seems to be no exact answer on how to deal with these "progression revoked" messages so many players have been getting. Riot has not yet officially addressed the issue as to why so many people seem to be receiving the message without cause. However, what you can try to do is reach out to Riot Support and give them the game ID, to see if they may be able to correct the problem. To get the game ID, go to match history, and look at the top of the screen. It will list the game map, the type of game, how long the game lasted, what day it took place, and finally, the game ID for that specific match.
