How to Get an Espeon in Pokemon Go

Here's a quick look at how to get Espeon in Pokemon Go. Espeon was introduced in Pokemon Gold and Silver as a psychic evolution to Eevee.

There are three methods for getting Espeon, but they all require you to evolve an Eevee.

The first method is to feed your Eevee 25 Eevee Candy and it will randomly evolve into one of the seven different Eeveelutions — Leafeon, Glacion, Espeon, Umbreon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, or Flareon.

The second method is slightly different. If you name your Eevee Sakura, it is guaranteed to evolve into an Espeon when you feed it 25 Eevee Candies, but this will only work once. If you try this on a second Eevee, it isn't guaranteed to work.

Note: You should restart your Pokemon Go app after renaming your Eevee, just to make sure that the change saves. If you have a poor connection to the servers, it can mess up the name change.

The third method is the most consistent, but also the most time consuming. Set Eevee as your Buddy, then walk 10km (around 6.3 miles). If you then evolve your Eevee during the day, it will turn into Espeon, and if you evolve it at night, it will become Umbreon.
