After Fortnite update 29.10, fans can now get a Hand Cannon in Fortnite Myths & Mortals.

Ever since Epic Games introduced Weapon Mods in Fortnite Underground, there have not been too many weapon vaults and unvaults in Fortnite. Instead, players can simply customize their current weapons exactly how they desire at Mod Benches scattered throughout the map. Despite the fairly consistent loot pool in Fortnite Chapter 5, the developers finally unvaulted an old Fortnite weapon you might recognize from OG Fortnite—the Deagle, now known as the Hand Cannon.

Here's where to find Hand Cannons in Fortnite.

How to Get Hand Cannon in Fortnite

To get a Hand Cannon in Fortnite, you must find the Deagle from floor loot or chests. Unlike the Mythic weapons in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, the Hand Cannon is part of the normal loot pool, so you do not have to defeat a Boss or purchase the weapon from an NPC.

Although you can get a Deagle from anywhere on the map, the weapon is a little harder to find compared to other options, like a Nemesis Assault Rifle or Frenzy Auto Shotgun. Since the Deagle only drops as a Rare (blue), Epic (purple), and Legendary (gold) weapon, it is not as easy to come across as guns available in all five rarities.

In fact, you might have better luck finding a Hand Cannon from an eliminated opponent. Deagle shots are super distinctive in game, so if you realize an enemy team is using one, feel free to key them and take the weapon for yourself.
