How to Get Shaymin in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
To unlock Shaymin (Land Forme) in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you'll need to have a save file for Pokémon Sword or Shield on the Nintendo Switch you're using to play Pokémon Legends: Arceus. This same scheme works to get several other Pokémon in the latest GameFreak release. A Pokémon: Let's Go Pikachu or Eevee file will get you a shot at the Pikachu and Eevee Masks, and a Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl save file will let you catch Darkrai.
Once you've got your Sword or Shield file saved on your Switch, you'll have to complete the main campaign in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Make it through the game's credits and return to Jubilife Village to be confronted with a new research request. Accept that request, you'll be offered the chance to catch Shaymin (Land Forme).
