Want to get your hands on the Night Maiden's Mist sorcery in Elden Ring? Here's what you need to know.

If you're playing Elden Ring with a predominantly Intelligence build, then you'll want to get your hands on some of the game's more useful sorceries. Where incantations favor Faith, sorceries favor Intelligence. Both types of spells can serve you well over the course of the game.

While some sorceries fire projectiles, others can be used more defensively. There are some, however, that offer more of an AoE type effect. The Night Maiden's Mist is one such sorcery, creating a dense mist that deals continuous damage to anything caught in it - including the player. It's a tricky little spell, but it can make short work of a lot of enemies.

This spell can be particularly effective as a form of crowd control - so, just how can you get hold of it in Elden Ring?

Where to Find the Night Maiden's Mist Sorcery in Elden Ring

The Night Maiden's Mist sorcery requires a bit of work to get hold of. It can be purchased from Gowry, in Caelid, for 5000 Runes after completing his questline.

Gowry can be located in Gowry's Shack in Caelid, just outside of Sellia, Town of Sorcery. His questline requires players to make their way to Millicent, a young woman stricken with scarlet rot found at the Church of the Plague, with the intention to cure her.

Upon finding Millicent, you'll soon realize that there's nothing you can do for her immediately and you'll need to find another way to help cure her. Players will then need to head to the Aeonia Swamp and take down the mini-boss Commander O'Neal. Upon death, he drops the Unalloyed Gold Needle.

This needle, broken in two, must be taken back to Gowry who will repair it. After some time, he'll return the repaired needle to the player who must now take it to Millicent to help cure her. After giving Millicent the needle, players can return to Gowry to purchase the Night Maiden's Mist.
