How to Get to Dragon Isles in Dragonflight

Looking to step foot in the Dragon Isles? Here's how to get there in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.

With the recent release of World of Warcraft's latest expansion, Dragonflight, players new and old have plenty of content and features to get to grips with. This expansion sees the addition of new Race/Class combination — dracthyr Evoker. Also added to the expansion is the brand new Dragonriding skill, used only with the new, customizable Drakes.

Players are able to explore four new zones: the Waking Shores, Ohn’ahran Plains, the Azure Span and Thaldraszus. But, if you're looking to step onto the Dragon Isles, you might be wondering how to get there.

How to Get to Dragon Isles in Dragonflight

First, in order to have access to Dragon Isles, players will need to own the new Dragonflight expansion and have a character at level 58 or higher. Players will then need to accept "The Dragonscale Expedition" quest line if they're heading to the Dragon Isles for the first time.

The starting point for this quest varies depending on whether you're playing Alliance or Horde.

How to Get to Dragon Isles: Horde

For Horde players, travel to Orgrimmar and look for Ebyssian. Here, you'll be asked to gather Artisans, Explorers and Scholars for the expedition to the Dragon Isles.

Once you have talked with Kodethi and Archmage Khadgar in Orgrimmar, you will receive the "To the Dragon Isles!" quest. Having accepted the quest, head to the zeppelin tower outside Orgrimmar and wait for the Defiant Dragonscale to arrive. Board it to set sail to the Dragon Isles.

How to Get to Dragon Isles: Alliance

Alliance players can accept The Dragonscale Expedition quest line in Stormwind City. Head towards Stormwind Keep and look for Wrathion. Similar to the Horde quest line, you'll be asked to gather Artisans, Explorers and Scholars.

Having spoken to Dervishian and Archmage Khadgar in Stormwind, you'll receive the Chasing Storms quest. Finally, speak to Storm Hunter William at Stormwind Harbor to receive "To the Dragon Isles!" quest.

Head to the southerndock in Stormwind Harbor and wait for the Rugged Dragonscale to arrive.
