Walking Wake, the Paradox form of Suicune, has just been revealed today to be coming as a Five-Star Tera Raid battle in Pokémon Scarlet.

The highly anticipated downloadable content coming to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has been announced officially during today's Pokémon Day Pokémon Presents. A new storyline available for players, once the DLC comes out, will give players access to new legendary Pokémon. In addition, for the next couple of weeks, players can encounter paradox Pokémon dependent on which version of the game they have, which includes Walking Wake.

Walking Wake is a Water- and Dragon-type Pokémon that has characteristics reminiscent of the normal form of the mono Water-type Suicune that players have been accustomed to since Generation II but has a stark design and, apparently, move-set differences.

To get access to this new paradox Pokémon, players will have to go online on their Pokémon Scarlet save file and access the event from there.

It is of importance to note that players can only catch Walking Wake once per save file, and after players finish battling it, they won't be able to encounter another unless it is traded to them from a friend, or by other methods.

Walking Wake is a Tera Water-type, so players should be sure to bring Electric-type Pokémon to make sure they can swiftly take care of it.

The Walking Wake Five-Star Tera Raid will only be available in Pokémon Scarlet from Feb. 27 to Mar. 12.
