How to Play With Friends in The Finals
The Finals pits players against each other in arenas where teams fight for victory. The free-to-play FPS focuses on shooting and mass destruction, as players are free to do what they want. The Finals only launched on December 7, and it’s already getting tons of attention. It’s great for groups of friends who like to wreak havoc, but players must know how to invite them to play.
How to Play With Friends in The Finals
Players must have an Embark ID to invite others. This requires going to the Embark Studios’ website and creating an account. Players must pick their platform, log in, enter an email address, and verify their accounts.
Players should follow these steps to add friends to their friend list in The Finals:
- Launch The Finals.
- Go to the Social button at the top right of the Backstage screen.
- Click “Add Friend.”
- Type in their friend’s Embark ID.
- Click “Add Friend.”
Adding someone from a match is a little different. In this case, players must:
- Go to the Backstage screen.
- Select the Social button.
- Go to the “Recent” tab to see all contestants from the match.
- Players should select the user they want to befriend.
The person invited will get a friend request. They’ll be added to the friend list when they accept it.
People can also form a party with friends. Here’s how to do that:
- Go to the Backstage screen.
- Select “Add to Party.”
- Players should pick the friend they want to invite.

- Go to the Backstage screen.
- Click the Social Button.
- The Embark ID is on the top-left corner of the screen.
