How to Reset Animal Crossing: New Horizons
To reset Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you have to go to the Nintendo Switch home menu. Once there, complete these steps to erase your Animal Crossing Data, including your island, character, progress and achievements:
- Select System Settings from the Switch home menu.
- Open Data Management
- Scroll down to Delete Save Data at the bottom
- Select Animal Crossing: New Horizons Save Data, then hit confirm.
Once you complete these steps and relaunch Animal Crossing, the game will begin as if you just started it for the first time. There's no undoing the reset.
