Players may be wondering how to save in Dying Light 2. We've detailed the easiest way and place to save in the game. Dying Light 2 was recently released on Feb. 4 becoming the sequel to Techland's Dying Light. As players go through the game, here is how they can save their progress.

Every gamer knows that saving the game frequently is arguably the most important thing to do. This saves players the stress of their game suddenly shutting down and losing hours of progression. By saving frequently throughout a game, this could save a player the time and trouble of losing their hard work and replaying a challenging mission all over again.

How to Save in Dying Light 2

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is set in the city of Villedor, 15 years after the first game. The new protagonist, Aiden Caldwell, is on a mission to find his long lost sister, Mia. In order to find her, Caldwell must travel throughout the seven distinct divisions, and survive the attacks of the infected and other survivors.

Unfortunately, there is no manual way to save the game. However, Dying Light 2 does have an auto-save feature which will usually be triggered when a challenge or mission is completed. This could be frustrating for many players, but Dying Light 2 does auto-save frequently throughout the game.

There are also ways to trigger the auto-save feature if a player wants to stop playing in the middle of a mission. The easiest way to save is by going to sleep in a bed. Every time a player rests their eyes, the game will save.

Beds can be found in safe zones, which are marked by a green icon on the map. The game will also auto-save when a player fast travels. However, fast traveling isn't unlocked until later in the game. Once players unlock this feature, it is in the player's best interest to take advantage of it and use it to save frequently.
