How to save in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is something that many trainers are wondering about at the moment now that the newest title in the iconic franchise has finally been released worldwide.

In any adventure or action RPG, saving is something every player must know how to do, of course. As such, here's the breakdown of how to save in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

How to Save in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

As shown in a tutorial towards the beginning of the game, saving in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is pretty straightforward stuff.

To save your progress manually, press the Up Button to open the menu, then scroll with the ZL or ZR Button until you reach the Save screen.

A nice feature to have on-hand as a backup, Pokémon Legends: Arceus does also autosave from time to time. The autosave setting can be enabled or disabled by scrolling to the Help screen in the menu, then selecting Settings.

As first announced by The Pokémon Company during a Pokémon Presents live stream in February, Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the first open-world action RPG for the iconic franchise, inviting players to catch, survey, and research wild Pokémon in order to create and complete the Sinnoh region’s first-ever Pokédex.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus released worldwide for Nintendo Switch on Jan. 28, 2022.
