How to turn off push to talk in Phasmophobia is a common question new players ask.

Phasmophobia requires good communication between teammates. Many players get together to play with their close friends making communication easy and more comfortable. The best way to improve communication is to turn off the push to talk feature.

How to Turn Off Push to Talk in Phasmophobia

Turning off the push to talk feature in Phasmophobia is fairly simple and straightforward. A few clicks into the settings of the game will make communicating with your friends and teammates a bit easier.

  • Open up the options menu.
  • Select "PC Settings."
  • Locate "Push to Talk" near the bottom of the menu.
  • Toggle the "On" setting to "Off."

Once the local push to talk is set off, you will no longer need to use a key binding in order to speak to your teammates during gameplay. By eliminating the extra key, you will be able to better focus on the actual gameplay and not risk your teammates missing something you said because you failed to hit the bound key.

Once you have your voice chat settings figured out, be sure to check out the new prison map and look into how to play the game using the Oculus Rift virtual reality system.
