How to Upgrade Spirit Ash Summons in Elden Ring

To unlock the ability to upgrade Spirit Ashes, players will need to have met Roderika and finished her questline. She can be found wearing a red hood and sitting in Stormhill Shack.

Once you've found her and gone through all of her dialogue, you'll need to locate the Chrysalids' Memento in Stormveil Castle. It can be found in a room next to the Grafted Scion mini-boss, on top of a pile of corpses.

Once you've collected it, head back to Roderika and once again go through all of her dialogue options. She'll then be found in the Roundtable Hold. There, talk to both Roderika and Blacksmith Hewg until all dialogue options have been exhausted - you may have to go back and forth between the two.

She'll set up shop in front of Blacksmith Hewg where you can upgrade your chosen Spirit Ash in exchange for Grave Gloveworts or Ghost Gloveworts. These items can typically be found in various dungeons and select other locations.
