How to Use Dead Eye in Red Dead Redemption 2 PC
Using Dead Eye in Red Dead Redemption 2's PC release is not as obvious as it is in the console versions of the game. Where Red Dead Redemption 2 on consoles had a predecessor that made many players familiar with the game's controls, the series is only arriving on PC now.
As a result, activating Dead Eye has eluded many PC players. Here's how to activate it.
So I realized why I was struggling so much with Red Dead Redemption - I became distracted by side quests too soon in the game and didn't bother unlocking some basic things, like DEAD EYE! Focusing on the main plot for a bit and it has been a lot more fun.

How to Use Dead Eye in Red Dead Redemption 2 PC
As on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, Dead Eye in Red Dead Redemption 2 can only be activated if the player is already aiming down the sights of their weapon. On PC, that means holding down the right mouse button.
Once you're aiming, press the middle mouse button to activate Dead Eye. While in Dead Eye, mark enemies by mousing over them and pressing Q. Left click to start blasting.
