How to Watch Konami's Silent Hill Reveal

Konami has announced that new Silent Hill updates will be revealed this Wednesday. Here's how to watch along.

Earlier this year, images were leaked of what claimed to be a new Silent Hill, only for the images to be swiftly taken down due to a copyright claim. The images appeared to hint at a new game set in Britain thanks to certain British references to films and language. Just last month, screenshots of what claimed to be a remake of Silent Hill 2 also surfaced online, though the images were of poor quality. Some Silent Hill 2 iconography was still visible, such as protagonist James Sunderland's hair and jacket.

Neither of the leaks were confirmed by Konami. However, a new game was thought to be on the horizon after an unannounced project, Silent Hill: The Short Message, was rated by the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea.

Konami seems set to finally put the leaks and rumors to rest, with a new Silent Hill livestream scheduled for this Wednesday. The "Transmission" will be providing updates for the series.

Konami's Silent Hill Transmission will air on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 5 p.m. ET.

Neither Konami or the Silent Hill official social media channels have confirmed whether the Transmission will be watchable on YouTube or Twitch, or if the news will be posted directly onto official Twitter channels. More information will likely be revealed ahead of time, and we'll update our article with new details as it comes.
