If you need to type something out to a particular player but don't fancy sharing it with the wider team, you'll want to make use of Valorant's messaging system.

How to Whisper in Valorant

Whispering in Valorant is pretty simple to do once you know how. To begin a private message with someone, press the CTRL key and then Enter.

From here, you'll need to enter the name of the player you wish to message. Type it in then hit TAB. You can then enter in your message and send it as normal. This will send the message only to that person, just as a whisper works in other online games.

It might be a bit clunky to use during a match, so it's perhaps best used during a moment of respite. Try it out next time you login.
