Iron Valiant is one of the new generation nine Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet. Since its release on Nov. 18, trainers have been entering and exploring the Paldea region. Seen as a hybrid of Gallade and Gardevoir, Iron Valiant is a Paradox Pokémon and one of the hardest to find in the game. Catchable after you beat the game, here is everything you need to know about Iron Valiant.
Iron Valiant Evolution: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Unfortunately, there are no evolutions in Iron Valiant’s line. However, its ancestry is linked to Gallade and Gardevoir, which explains its resemblance. This Paradox Pokémon is exclusive to Pokémon Violet. Professor Turo used a time machine to bring Iron Valiant into the Paldea region from the future.
Iron Valiant is a distant relative and the perfect split between Gallade and Gardevoir, taking its Fairy typing from Gardevoir and its Fighting typing from Gallade. This dual-typing renders it vulnerable to Poison, Flying, Psychic, Steel, and Fairy-type attacks and resistant against Fighting, Rock, Bug, and Dark-type moves.
Iron Valiant Stats: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Only accessible in the post game, Iron Valiant has considerably high base stats: 74 HP, 130 ATK, 90 DEF, 120 SP. ATK, 60 SP. DEF, and 116 SPEED.
These high stats paired with its Quark Drive Ability makes Iron Valiant a threat when going against it in battle. Quark Drive increases the highest stat (other than HP) by 30% when a Pokémon is on Electric Terrain or if it is holding Booster Energy.
Iron Valiant Location: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Iron Valiant is only found in Pokémon Violet. Located in the Hidden Cave of Paldea, this area is only accessible once a trainer completes the main story line, defeating the Elite Four and Five Titan Bosses.
To find the Hidden Cave, trainers must start at the Research Base One in the Great Crater. From there, trainers need to glide on Miraidon toward the waterfall until you reach a grassless area. Here, you must go towards a large tree which will show you a path that leads to the cavern.
