Is Antonio Brown in Madden 21?
Is Antonio Brown in Madden 21? The quick answer. No.
But that could be changing very soon. The big news this week is that Brown signed a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This would make a pretty unstoppable theme team if you only took players from this current season. Mike Evans. Chris Godwin. Antonio Brown. Gronk.
AB had a tumultuous 2019. The Raiders debacle that played out on Hard Knocks and then a very short stint with the New England Patriots. It was the off-the-field issues that eventually led to him being cut from the Patriots and ultimately suspended eight weeks of the current NFL season.
Is Antonio Brown in Madden 21?
But when will Madden 21 put the once-star receiver in the game?
We don't know that answer for sure, yet. However, we do know EA Sports updates the Madden 21 rosters each week to try to replicate what is happening in the NFL. It would be fair to assume that EA will wait and see if AB suits up this weekend before the move is made to add him into the game. It would be most likely that he would make his return to the game in the Week 8 roster update.
The next question of what his rating will be is a very interesting one. Last season, he came in with a 98 OVR. He was the fourth-best player in the game and second-best WR after DeAndre Hopkins.
EA's Madden NFL 21 Twitter account has kept quiet on anything AB related so it looks like we will all have to wait and see. It will be a lot of fun to add AB to an already top-tier receiving corps and back catching balls from Tom Brady should he be added.
