Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon comes out in just a few days, and fans want to know if Armored Core 6 will be on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
FromSoftware is finally releasing the next installment of the Armored Core franchise after eleven years. Fans will once again get to pilot their Armored Core in battle as freelance mercenaries. The game will feature a mission-based structure and an Armory perfect for building and customizing Armored Cores.
Armored Core 6 will be available to play on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC come Aug. 25. The game's price is a bit high, so fans are hoping it will be available through gaming subscription services, like Xbox Game Pass. Instead of paying full price for titles, Xbox Game Pass members pay a monthly fee of $10 to access a library of games at no extra cost.
Here's a breakdown of where fans will be able to play Armored Core 6 across all platforms.
Is Armored Core 6 on Xbox Game Pass?
No, Armored Core 6 is not on Xbox Game Pass. Fans looking to play the new title on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One will have to purchase the game from the Microsoft Store. In theory, the game could come to Xbox Game Pass after its launch, but we do not expect that to happen for a very long time (if at all).
The standard edition of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon costs $59.99. For an extra $10, fans can pre-order the Deluxe Edition to receive an exclusive digital artbook and original soundtrack.
When Can I Pre-Load Armored Core 6?
Fans can now pre-load Armored Core 6 on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Xbox is the only console that currently offers the pre-load option so players can dive into the game come Aug. 25.
PlayStation players will likely be able to pre-load Armored Core 6 on Aug. 23, just two days prior to release day. There is no leaked or confirmed pre-load date for PC players just yet, but we do know they will have early access to the game; Armored Core 6 goes live on PC on Aug. 24 at 6 p.m. ET.
