A new mission featuring Danny Trejo was released too early in Far Cry 6, according to Ubisoft.
The mission saw the game's lead Dani Rojas team alongside the action star in a chaotic gunfight mission, and has since been removed due to it being "incomplete."
Ubisoft Removes Early Version of Dani & Danny vs Everybody from Far Cry 6
Ubisoft removed the early version of "Dani & Danny vs Everybody" from Far Cry 6 after is was accidentally released too early. It's unknown when exactly it was put out live, or which of the recent patches released it mistakenly, but Ubisoft was quick to remove the mission and apologize.
According to a community manager on the official Ubisoft discussion board, the latest title update patched bugs in the game as well as removed the Danny Trejo add-on. "This update also removes the Dani & Danny vs Everybody mission as it was accidentally released too early," the post reads. "We look forward to players checking out the final version in the future."
The mission involved helping Danny Trejo battle the local military while grabbing taco ingredients scattered in the area. While you don't get to play with the Rambo star himself, fighting alongside him is a treat.
An exact date for the mission's re-release is still unknown, but Ubisoft will want to finish the mission so it can be ready for fans, after they have already gotten a sneak glimpse into it's contents. The mission is one of three expansions set to begin in December, so stay tuned for the newest crossover missions coming soon.
