The original Dying Light debuted to rave reviews and quickly gained popularity. Since its initial 2015 release, fans begged the question if a sequel would ever be made. At E3 2018, Dying Light 2: Stay Human was announced. Now, after multiple delays, including a scare that the game would never be released, Dying Light 2 is finally on its way.
Now, Dying Light 2 fans are dying to know what systems the game will be released on and, more specifically, if it will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Is Dying Light 2: Stay Human Coming to Nintendo Switch?
Nintendo fans rejoice because Techland, Dying Light 2: Stay Human’s developer and publisher, has confirmed that the game will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Dying Light 2’s journey to release has been a tumultuous one, to say the least. A delay was caused after a developer leftover sexual assault allegations, yet the game was slated to be announced in 2020, nevertheless. Then in Jan. 2020, mere months before the game’s plan release Techland delayed Dying Light 2 indefinitely. Finally, in May 2021, Dying Light’s official release date was confirmed for Dec. 7, 2021, but was yet again pushed back in September to Feb. 4, 2022.
Many fans thought after all the shuffling that Dying Light 2: Stay Human would never arrive on store shelves. Luckily, Techland has successfully navigated their way to release with a Nintendo Switch version too!
All that’s left for fans to do is wait until release day and cross their fingers that no more surprise delays pop up.
