Cross-platform compatibility has grown immensely in popularity since it was first introduced into the gaming sphere. With so many platforms available across the console divide, PC, Mac, and now mobile, players have more than indicated their desire for agency when it comes to where they play.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is no exception. This upcoming open-world game pits players against hordes of dead with nothing but an axe, some magic, gunpowder, and the coalition army at their back. They'll be tasked with taking on gods in what could be humanity's last siege for their future.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn Cross-Platform Play

At the time of writing, it is currently unknown if players can expect cross-platform play from Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. Currently, A44's other title, Ashen, still does not offer this feature, so it's doubtful that Flintlock will, either.

However, this doesn't mean it will never have cross-platform mechanics. Player pressure has convinced many a developer to include features they may have previously overlooked. It's always possible, should enough fans ask, that a developer would give the issue a glance over, at the very least.

Flintlock certainly has the pre-requisite for cross-platform play—that being that the game will be available across several platforms including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

Should A44 give any further indication on its position when it comes to cross-platform features, this article will be updated to reflect that additional information.

More information about the game can be found on its Steam listing.
