Fans want to know if Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn has cross-progression.

Cross-progression has become one of the most popular features introduced in video game history. It is among the most convenient mechanics, allowing players to transfer their progress across several devices and platforms and giving them the freedom to work through a title regardless of where they are. From Xbox and PlayStation, PC, and beyond, cross-progression essentially cuts the strings holding players to a specific device and awards them more agency.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn Cross-Progression

No, at the time of writing, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn does not have cross-progression.

This is because the game doesn't support cross-platform play. Should A44 announce that they plan on making Flintlock cross-platform compatible, the developers will likely move to add in cross-progression as well. The two tend to go hand-in-hand. That way, players can not only compare stats with their friends across the platform divides but can also pick up and play the game wherever they'd like.

As we've seen with previous releases, if enough fans ask for a specific feature, there's a chance that developers may look into adding it. Of course, we cannot guarantee every developer will listen wholeheartedly or that A44 will absolutely add the feature with enough public pressure.

More information about Flintlock can be found on its Steam listing, as well as our companion article about its release on PlayStation platforms.

A44 has announced it will be available on the PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series X, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
