Is Ghostwire: Tokyo on PlayStation 4?

With the highly-anticipated action-adventure game set to release as a timed exclusive for PlayStation 5 and PC in the coming days, here's a breakdown of whether or Ghostwire: Tokyo will be playable on PS4.

Can You Play Ghostwire: Tokyo on PS4?

As touched on earlier, Ghostwire: Tokyo, is set to release as a one-year timed exclusive for PlayStation 5 and Windows PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) on March 25, 2022.

Unfortunately, however, it does not appear that Ghostwire: Tokyo will be coming to PlayStation 4.

Perhaps that is to be expected as despite the game being just 20 GB, it does take quite a bit of machine power to deliver the next-gen, ray-traced goodness that Tango Gameworks its players to experience.

From the developers of The Evil Within titles from 2014 and 2017 comes Ghostwire: Tokyo, Tango Gameworks' upcoming action-adventure game.

Ghostwire: Tokyo invites players to use an arsenal of upgradeable elemental powers and ghost-hunting skills to defeat Yokai, deadly supernatural forces prowling the streets of Tokyo, and unravel the truth behind the disappearance of the city's population.

The open-world single-player experience is said to offer players the ability to discover iconic landmarks like Shibuya Crossing and Tokyo Tower frozen in time, rendered with next-generation technology.

Ghostwire: Tokyo was initially revealed during Bethesda Softworks' press conference at E3 2019 as an all-new action-adventure game with horror elements.

Alongside Deathloop, Ghostwire: Tokyo has long been heralded to be a next-gen, PlayStation 5 console exclusive.
