On Saturday, Jan. 29, "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey won the 2022 WWE Women's Royal Rumble, outlasting 29 other WWE Superstars in the match. With the win, Ronda will be featured in one of the main events of this year's WrestleMania, the biggest WWE event of the year, against the Women's Champion of her choice.

With all the buzz surrounding the returning WWE Superstar, as well as the hype around the upcoming return of WWE 2k on March 11, will Ronda Rousey be in WWE 2K22?

Is Ronda Rousey in WWE 2K22?

Rousey made her WWE 2K debut in WWE 2K19 as a pre-order bonus superstar. She also was featured in the last WWE title, WWE 2K20 as a selectable superstar on day one. However, with her absence from WWE in the past year, it's unknown if 2K developers plan on including her in the upcoming WWE game.

Most would hope that WWE and 2K have been in contact regarding Rousey's return, so hopefully she's available on launch. Plus, it would be a missed opportunity if Rousey goes on to defeat Charlotte Flair or Becky Lynch at WrestleMania for a championship and isn't in the game.

With her winning the Royal Rumble and returning to WWE this year, Rousey definitely deserves to feature in the new game, it's just a matter of 2K added her to the game prior to her Rumble appearance. They have her likeness in previous titles to base a character model on, but with two months left until the game's release, we'll have to see if they can add her to the character catalogue in time for the release.
