Is Spider-Man in the Avengers game? Everyone's favorite teen hero Peter Parker is one of Marvel's most popular characters, but is he playable in the upcoming Marvel's Avengers action-adventure game?
On the subject of Avengers, it's complete bullshit that Spider-Man is a PlayStation exclusive. Not only does it lock other platforms out of Marvel's flagship character, it locks out virtually every major villain/storyline involving him.

Is Spider-Man in the Avengers Game?
When Marvel's Avengers is released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Windows and Stadia on Thursday, Spider-Man won't be available. But PlayStation players need not despair. Developer Crystal Dynamics and publisher Square Enix plan to release a post-launch pack of downloadable content for PS4 and PS5 owners in early 2021 that will add Spider-Man to the game. Players on other platforms, however, are out of luck.
Spider-Man's arrival in-game will come accompanied by an in-game event that introduces him to the world, according to Crystal Dynamics associate art director Jeff Adams. Adams described the developer's plan for the hero in a PlayStation blog post published in early August, saying the event would include "a series of unique challenges for the hero to take on, testing his abilities, and yielding some exciting results."
