Bugsnax fans are wondering whether the new Isle of the Bigsnax update is free.
Young Horses, developer of Bugsnax, has announced a content update to bring its players to a whole new location. The Isle of the Bigsnax is fairly self-explanatory, but for those who'd like to know exactly what they're getting into: it's a big island with even bigger bugs. It looks like the Grumpuses won't have to subsist on meager scraps for much longer.
Here's how much it will cost to take a trip to Bigsnax Isle.
Is the Bugsnax: The Isle of Bigsnax Update Free?
Yes, the Bugsnax content update is completely free. Young Horses will be making the update available for all players in early 2022.
According to a post made on the official PlayStation blog on Wednesday, Oct. 27, the update is filled with new mechanics, Bugsnax, and ways to truly feel like part of the Bugsnax universe. Players will encounter the new Shrink Spice to help bring down the bigger inhabitants on Bigsnax Isle while exploring its history with Chandlo, Floofty, Triffany, and Shelda.
They'll also be receiving their own hut that they can decorate however they'd like. In that same vein, players can catch "rare Bughats" in order to dress up their favorite Bugsnax. Other notable pieces of content include:
- A new biome to explore.
- A dozen fresh Bugsnax to capture and feed to your friends.
- Over 100 challenges and 30 quests. Nearly 200 decorations to collect and display.
- More delightful dialogue from our returning voice cast.
All players need to do to experience this new update is to purchase the base game.
