Is the acclaimed mystery RPG, The Forgotten City, coming to Xbox Game Pass?
The Forgotten City began its life as a Skyrim mod, initially releasing back in 2016. Since then, the game has gone on to receive a full release in July 2021, making its way to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PCs. A cloud version was also released for the Nintendo Switch.
The game has been updated and expanded since its 2016 beginnings, switching the setting of Dwemer ruins to that of ancient Rome. The script and overall story of the game received updates as well, fleshing it out into a much stronger narrative. Players will find themselves caught in a time loop in the midst of a doomed Roman city, as they struggle to work out what's going on.

Good news. for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. The Forgotten City will be making its way to the service on Oct. 28. Announced as part of Xbox's 20th Anniversary celebrations, a number of games will be making their way to Xbox Game Pass.
The Forgotten City will join the likes of Age of Empires IV and Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, all set to come to the service on Oct. 28. So with just a few days to go, Xbox fans won't have long to wait before they can get caught up in this interesting and acclaimed RPG.
