It Costs Actual Money to Change Hair Colors in Dead or Alive 6
By Liz Lanier

In an all new microtransaction low, Koei Tecmo is charging players for changing character hair colors in Dead or Alive 6, as spotted by Kotaku.
The fighting game, which originally released a year ago, charges players $1 for each hair color adjustment with a new update for the PlayStation 4 version. What's worse is that the cost doesn't include the option to switch back, meaning that they have to pay for another Premium Ticket ($1 each) to switch back to the old color.

Xbox One and PC versions do not have the 1.60 update that includes this adjustment, so this microtransaction only impacts PlayStation 4 players at this time. According to multiple negative Steam reviews, the option to adjust hair color for characters simply isn't present in the current version of the game.
It is not clear yet if the microtransaction or the option will be added to the Xbox One or PC versions of Dead or Alive 6. Koei Tecmo did not respond to DBLTAP's request for comment by publication time.
