JGOD Believes PPSH Received a Secret Buff in Warzone Pacific Season 2

Warzone Pacific Season 2 launched on Feb. 14, bringing with it new content, map changes, and weapon balancing. While developers tend to list all planned changes to weapons, it's not unusual for them to slip in a secret or unannounced change. Players often work together to share their experiences and can notice even the slightest difference in spray pattern or recoil.

That's what JGOD believes happened with the PPSH. An already powerful and competitive weapon, it looks like this "stealth buff" could explain why it skyrocketed to the top of the meta.

There is a chance this was an accident, another common occurrence in massive patches. Developers can have bugs that affect a weapon's performance for better or worse. The community will complain about the secret change before the developer reveals it was a mistake and restore the original settings.

The time-to-kill is extremely high, so it's hard to say whether the change was planned or not. Here is JGOD's loadout for the broken PPSH.

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: ZAC 300mm
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Underbarrel: Mark VI Skeletal
  • Stock: Kovalevskaya Skeletal
  • Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 71-rounds
  • Ammunition: Hollow Point
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Perk 1: Tight Grip
  • Perk 2: Quick

Use it while you can. Either Raven Software is already working on a fix, or the community might flash a spotlight on it, resulting in the same thing.
