Jill Resident Evil 3 is the protagonist and the main character you play as. She also serves as one of the playable protagonists in the original Resident Evil.

Jill Valentine is a French-Japanese member of the Special Tactics And Rescue Service (STARS). She is skilled in bomb disposal and lock picking, and has experience with most forms of weaponry.

In the original Resident Evil, she has an expanded inventory and firepower at the expense of durability compared to her counterpart, Chris Redfield. After taking a break in Resident Evil 2, she makes her return as the main character of Resident Evil 3.

In RE3, she uncovers a conspiracy by the Umbrella Corporation after being attacked in her home by Nemesis. As the game progresses, she learns more about the T-virus and the fate of Raccoon City.

As the face of Resident Evil 3, she is featured prominently on the game's collector's edition.

Her appearance in Resident Evil 3 remake is based on Russian model Sasha Zotova.
