Jurassic World Evolution 2 could see a release date in the far future.
Frontier Developments is currently working on the sequel to its 2018 dino-park management simulator, Jurassic World Evolution. The new game titled simply "Jurassic World Evolution 2," aims to build upon the "groundbreaking and immersive" features seen in its predecessor. Players will be able to progress through a "compelling" new narrative campaign with incredible mechanics and "awe-inspiring" dinosaurs.
Here's when it's expected to launch.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 Release Date
There is currently no release date for Jurassic World Evolution 2. Its Steam store listing only states a vague "coming soon," with no year—let alone a month or day. Fortunately, the trailer is a bit more giving, revealing it will launch later this year in 2021.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 is set after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Players will have the opportunity to work alongside iconic franchise characters such as Dr. Ian Malcolm for the conservation and protection of these now-endangered species. Full customization options including building, terraforming, and in-depth management will be available—alongside 75 pre-historic species to revive.
Additionally, fans will be able to relive situations from the films as they played out in both the original Jurassic Park and Jurassic World facilities. "Chaos Theory" mode allows players to "play through key moments" and "experience 'what-if' scenarios" in all locations spread throughout the movies.
