Kassadin Buffs and Corki Nerfs Likely in League of Legends Patch 9.16

Kassadin and Corki will be among the 20 champions set to be targeted for balance adjustments in League of Legends Patch 9.16, according to lead gameplay designer Mark "Scruffy" Yetter.

Per Yetter, the following champions will receive buffs in League of Legends Patch 9.16:

• Dr. Mundo
• Ekko
• Fiora
• Jax
• Kassadin
• LeBlanc
• Lux (support)
• Nocturne
• Shen
• Sion
• Syndra

The following eight champions will meanwhile receive nerfs:

• Azir
• Corki
• Ezreal
• Riven
• Sejuani
• Sivir
• Sylas (jungle)
• Tahm Kench
• Yuumi

Yetter did not elaborate on how Riot Games planned to execute the balance changes for the champions in question.

Currently testing on the Public Beta Environment are a group of highly experimental changes to Aurelion Sol and Kayle that are not expected to ship in Patch 9.16.

Aurelion Sol's biggest change allows her Celestial Expansion (W) to grow her stars' size, damage and rotating speed temporarily, though much of her kit is also being adjusted.

Kayle's changes are multitudinous and varied, affecting stats across every ability in her kit.

League of Legends Patch 9.16 is expected to hit live servers Aug. 14.
